Cup Holder Modifications

Does your cup holder rattle?

(modifications shown for 4th generation Mirage)

I filled most of the cup holder with silicone to add a little more mass to it. This should reduce how much it rattles.

Finished Product

Make sure to not fill any parts that would restrict the movement of the cup holder


Cup Holder too Small?

I always had trouble fitting Sobe bottles and such in the cup holder. This is how I fixed it.

Before (do not drink and drive)

Mark the area you want to trim away. You should be able to cut 1/8" all around

Dremel around the hole, making sure it remains round until you get to the marks you made

After (with a little more room)

Looks the same, but it now perfectly fits Sobe and other large cups
